Privacy Notice

Stone Sphere Studio collects as little personal data as possible. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

1. Who we are

Stone Sphere Studio is a sole proprietorship registered in Hong Kong (Business Registration Certificate No. 57837012-000-07-26-8), providing software consulting, systems integration and delivery services. For any question about this notice or your data, contact us at sales@stonesphere.studio.

2. What we collect

Only what you choose to send us:

• Enquiry details — name, email address, and (optionally) company and workflow context, submitted through the contact form or emailed to us directly.
• Server logs — standard web server request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent), retained for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or cross-site profiling of any kind. There are no cookies set by this site.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver and support the engagement.
• To keep the site secure and diagnose faults.
• To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not use enquiry details for marketing lists without asking you first.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent (by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to you. Server logs are processed for the legitimate interest of operating a secure service.

5. Retention

Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet accounting or legal obligations, and are then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are rotated on a short, fixed cycle and not used for profiling.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions (for example our hosting and email providers), and where disclosure is required by Hong Kong law or a competent authority.

7. Your rights

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for future processing. Email sales@stonesphere.studio and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity before acting on a request.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access is gated, and enquiry details are held in access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we do not hold payment card details at all.

9. Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. If that changes in future, this notice will be updated before it does.
